Job Description

As a JAVA Struts developer, you will be responsible for:

• Analyzing, designing, coding and testing as per the requirement specifications
• Working with clients and project managers to determine needs and applying / customizing existing technology to meet those needs
• Superior disciplined coding skills - ability to produce production ready code with minimal supervision
• Creating and delivering data-driven reports
• Coordinating and supervising the development of software systems and websites
• Working closely with the peers and leads to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development
• Investigating and developing skills in new technologies

Required Skill Sets

• Knowledge of Object oriented development, version control, release management, change management
• Developing enterprise level applications
• Experience in struts 1.X or struts 2.x
• Experience in deployment and configuration of production servers in clustered and HA environments
• Experience in Core Java, Swing, Eclipse, UML, SQL, Windows and Linux
• Experience in working within an agile development environment
• Knowledge of Core Java / J2EE knowledge including EJB, Servlets, JSP, JMS, Struts, Hibernate, Spring, AJAX, Tag libraries, JavaScript
• Knowledge of J2EE: Servlets, JSP, Struts, jQuery, Web Services SOA, JAXB, MQ, SOAP and Restful web services
• Databases (SQL Server); Source Control (SVN); Build tools Maven, Eclipse
• Experience in Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, Servlets, Spring, Hibernate

Preferred Skill Sets

• Experience in Maven, design patterns etc
• Experience in front end technologies such as HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap
• Experience in JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS and other JavaScript frameworks

Interpersonal Skills

He/she must demonstrated ability to adapt to new environments and learn new technologies. Good verbal and non-verbal communication is a must. We are looking for a dynamic candidate who qualifies as a team player.
