ADD Corporation Ltd based in Mumbai-India, is a leader in the writing instruments industry. The company deals with the manufacturing of pens, markers, and premium stationery. ADD Corporation wanted a business management software to manage the in-house processes across their various departments. The company took up a consultancy project with Pegasus InfoCorp to build the detailed 'Software Requirements Specification' (SRS) to plan the best way of developing their department software and implementing their different processes.
The ADD Corporation business management software was required mainly to mange the processes for the ‘order’, ‘production’ and ‘dispatch’ phases of the entire products manufacturing lifecycle. The SRS team allocated at Pegasus InfoCorp had several discussions with ADD Corporation on the different functionalities required for each process, within the company. Each process identified, involved several steps such as complex delivery schedules, multilevel approvals by department staff members, automatic generation of quotation sheets/work order sheets, reporting tools at each level etc.
The SRS team detailed each step of the different processes, for the corporate management software. This involved finalizing forms, pages, third party integrations, making necessary assumptions on the different parameters, database fields etc for the corporate software. As part of the Add corporation SRS development project, Pegasus InfoCorp also made estimates on the overall resources for the project, which included skill sets required, development time, budget estimates etc for the entire corporate management software.
Pegasus InfoCorp delivered on the software requirements for ADD Corporation Ltd with detailed technical specifications on the features required, for the different processes within the company.
