Established in 1973, SPL Corporation Ltd has grown to become an innovative provider of healthcare services across the UK, from it's firm foundations in the West Midlands. With increasing technological advances, and the reduction in geographical barriers, the business had identified a need to develop a service that attracts a greater customer audience. To help with this objective, SPL Corporation Ltd. selected Pegasus InfoCorp for developing an advanced e-commerce model that would expand their current operations.
YourOnlinePharmacy.co.uk is the online trading name of SPL Corporation Ltd. The site pulls together some of the best features of some of UK's leading pharmacy web portals, and has others that are unique to SPL Corporation. The site has over 1000 products that are being sold online and an extensive content management system to manage details of each of them, including their inventory. Extensive priority search modules are built (for members/ visitors) to quickly reach the product of their choice, and for promotional activities (including promotional codes and variety of promotional options for each product). Separate logins are built for members and for pharmacists, along with an online calendar for setting up appointment at convenient time slots. Separate sections are built for interactive online health care advice (with suggestions of related productions) and interactive online travel care advice (with recommended products) - each of which is manageable through a CMS. The admininstration panel has several user controls and permission options, and different reports.
The site has several other smaller standard features such as product recommendations, filters, wish lists, same day delivery options, newsletters, content management system for static pages etc. The Your Online Pharmacy website takes appropriate process inputs to handle NHS prescriptions, and is registered with the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain website. Pegasus InfoCorp has also conducted the basic search engine optimization process on the site.
