Our client runs a leading therapy, counseling and coaching firm, based in Minnesota USA, focused on mental health care. She approached Pegasus InfoCorp with a very interesting concept - creating a website for the automated creation of template websites. These automated websites could be created in just 3 minutes, and would be targeted to mental health professionals.
The product was to offer template websites and client management tools for small private practices. Through this template website solution the client aimed at providing benefits to other therapists in the US to strengthen their services, grow more practice and transform the lives of even more clients. The client needed to design an ecommerce website that would be capable of providing all the required facilities for naïve users to create their websites which would include the registration of domain names, management of the hosting etc.
Pegasus InfoCorp had several discussions with the client on the 'must have' functionalities for the template ecommerce website, based on the different priorities that the client had set for the project. The client preferred the agile methodology so that she could start using partial releases of working software prototypes and give feedback on the direction for further development.
In the initial releases, Pegasus InfoCorp worked on the different website themes – layouts, color schemes, content, navigation links etc for the different templates available on the site. This also included easy-to-use online tools for clients to manage the functionality for the templates, manage client’s appointments, schedule personal and official timings etc.
Pegasus InfoCorp also delivered on several advanced tools in subsequent releases, to give site members additional flexibility while customizing their sites, through the application. Some of the features included were dynamic registration of the web site domains, web hosting, managing blogs, dynamic content management systems, forms generation, online scheduling of appointments, managing search engine optimization and marketing activities etc for their websites.
The template ecommerce website has been developed on the PHP platform. We have integrated with several third party API’s based on the client’s preference for the different features of the site. We have integrated with ‘WHMCS’, for automated domain name registration of the websites, ‘Enom’ for setting up name servers, domain name transfers, termination and other hosting related services and ‘Quantum Gateway’ to manage financial transactions and keeping records of orders, invoices, recurring payments and providing financial reports and statistics

It has been good working with the client over the last few months, and to deliver on the current ecommerce product under the agile development methodology. We look forward to continue delivering on other complex features for the site and to develop a long term business relationship with the client.
