Our client, based in India wanted an advanced e – learning software solution that integrated with a ‘Computer Writing Pad (Digital Notepad)’ for user interactions. The client initially called Pegasus InfoCorp to discuss the feasibility of the interactive learning software, and signed up for a software requirements development project to document his requirements and plan the overall development and implementation of the elearning solution
On completing the scope development project, the e – learning software development process began. The e – learning software has many interesting features such as mentor and student registrations, profiling, online tests, payment gateway integrations, multi level fee structures, live online interactions, study material, course registrations, security rights and permissions etc.
One of the most interesting and key distinguishing feature of the software is the ‘Board Room’ for conferences and group interactions between the students and their mentors. For the board room we have developed software to display an interactive whiteboard for user interactions. The board room also contains interactive tools for the users - such as live audio chat facility, saving the whiteboard and audio sessions between the users etc
The elearning software solution has been developed using several technologies. We have used the Dot Net Framework 2.0 and SQL 2005 database server for the application. Flash Media server is used for developing the boardroom along with all the features needed for the user interactions.
