AnotherLevel is a custom configuration for fvwm2 that is based
on TheNextLevel, the desktop contest winner and the desktop for
Red Hat 4.x. AnotherLevel has several enhancements, including
the addition of wmconfig. Using wmconfig we can now
shorten startup time and allow for easier customization of the application
menus.
All the system config files are stored in /etc/X11/AnotherLevel.

These files should only be edited by a system administrator wishing
to change the defaults for everyone on the system.
Users wishing to reconfigure parts of AnotherLevel should
start by copying a few files into their home directory as dot files.
The two files most likely to be used are fvwm2rc.defstyles and
fvwm2rc.defines. You simply copy those files to your home directory
as .fvwm2rc.defstyles and .fvwm2rc.defines. You may then edit
them. Save your changes and then restart fvwm2 (using the
Restart option in the system menu) and any changes should take
effect (assuming they were done properly).
If you want to change application menus you can do that via wmconfig.
wmconfig is used by the system to configure applications that can be
launched from the application menus. See the wmconfig man page for
details.
There are other files in
/etc/X11/AnotherLevel
that you may be interested in. Most are commented somewhat, so it
shouldn't be terribly difficult to figure out how to make changes.
