Job Description

  • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to build partnership with vendors
  • Stay up-to-date on the industry by reading professional publications, maintaining your network, and participating in professional organizations
  • Guide the organization's solutions and campaigns, including reference architectures, customer presentations, webinars, and seminars etc.
  • Work with on solutions development and go-to-market strategies
  • Work on building business partner solutions and account alignment in targeted accounts
  • Research industry and related events, publications, and announcements to identify innovative ideas; track individual contributors and their accomplishments
  • Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners
  • Develop negotiation strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations while examining risks and potential and estimating partners' needs and goals
  • Help close new business consulting deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations
  • Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluate options and resolve internal priorities
  • Identifies potential new services partnerships
  • Define, track, and communicate key relationship metrics and milestones to senior leadership

Required Skill Sets

  • Generating business leads to achieve short and long term revenue and profit growth through:
    - Executing on direct Business Development programs (Telemarketing, contact management, demand generation programs, etc.)
    - Developing and executing a Business Development Strategy for a metropolitan area
  • Develop and maintain a high level understanding of:
    - Pegasus InfoCorp Offerings
    - Local competitive environment
  • Manage overall Business Development process from pre to post-sales
  • Develop and maintain an opportunity pipeline through the Customer Relationship Management System including support for Area Opportunity Pipeline Management Meetings, Forecasting, Opportunity Management, and Business and Technical Proposal Reviews
  • Proposal creation and delivery (written and oral participation with engagement team)

  • Outstanding communications and interpersonal capabilities – both written and verbal
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
