Job Description
- Collaborate with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to build partnership with vendors
- Stay up-to-date on the industry by reading professional publications, maintaining your network, and participating in professional organizations
- Guide the organization's solutions and campaigns, including reference architectures, customer presentations, webinars, and seminars etc.
- Work with on solutions development and go-to-market strategies
- Work on building business partner solutions and account alignment in targeted accounts
- Research industry and related events, publications, and announcements to identify innovative ideas; track individual contributors and their accomplishments
- Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners
- Develop negotiation strategies and positions by studying the integration of new ventures with company strategies and operations while examining risks and potential and estimating partners' needs and goals
- Help close new business consulting deals by coordinating requirements, developing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations
- Screen potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluate options and resolve internal priorities
- Identifies potential new services partnerships
- Define, track, and communicate key relationship metrics and milestones to senior leadership
Required Skill Sets
- Generating business leads to achieve short and long term revenue and profit growth through:
- Executing on direct Business Development programs (Telemarketing, contact management, demand generation programs, etc.)
- Developing and executing a Business Development Strategy for a metropolitan area
- Develop and maintain a high level understanding of:
- Pegasus InfoCorp Offerings
- Local competitive environment
- Manage overall Business Development process from pre to post-sales
- Develop and maintain an opportunity pipeline through the Customer Relationship Management System including support for Area Opportunity Pipeline Management Meetings, Forecasting, Opportunity Management, and Business and Technical Proposal Reviews
- Proposal creation and delivery (written and oral participation with engagement team)
